    William B. (Will) Wales, N0NNG (SK):

    William B. (Will) Wales, 71, of Wheatland, died April 11th at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. He had suffered with diabetes much of his life. He was born June 17, 1940 in Denver, Colorado and lived in Colorado until moving to Wheatland in May of 2000. He and his wife purchased a small farm SW of Wheatland and had various livestock. Mr. Wales was retired and had worked for the Colorado Department of Communications from 1969 to 1992. He had also been in business in various other trades or occupations as well. He and his wife once owned a candy store at Grand Lake, CO. He was a jack-of-all-trades and master of many. Gunsmith, locksmith, clock repair, and his most loved trade as a radio/electronics technician. He was an accomplished HAM radio operator and enjoyed sharing his knowledge with other radio operators.
